Introduction
Hull Tec's School of Electrical Engineering enjoys a purpose fitted workshop at the Orchard Park Campus in Hull, with dedicated resources for electrical testing and installation.

We work with a large number of partner organisations who can provide employment as part of our apprenticeship programmes.

If you have decided to pursue a career in electrical engineering we can offer work-based learning through our apprenticeship framework in multi-skilled applications, which you can undertake at two different levels


Apprenticeship
Duration: 21 months

Entry requirements: Aged 16-24 years.

Interview and basic skills assessment.

Framework content: Key Skills (Levels 1 & 2),

NVQ (Level 2) & Technical Certificate (Level 2).

Advanced apprenticeship
Duration: 22 - 42 months

Entry requirements: Aged 16-24 years.

Interview and basic skills assessment.

Framework content: Key Skills (Level 2),

NVQ (Level 2& 3) & Technical Certificate (Level 3)

Electrical Maintenance
Technical Certificate - Level 3: Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology

Installation (Buildings & Structures): Fault Diagnosis & rectification
Note: The above multi-skilled qualifications may also be combined with other Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication & Welding modules.
